I have been reading, and thoroughly enjoying, many quilters' blogs. It suddenly became apparent to me that a blog would be a great way to keep track of the quilts I have made over the years. I did not start quilting until 2001 - I found it very thereputic after the death of my husband. And than, when grandchildren came into the picture, there was no stopping me. I also discovered Quilt University and started taking many classes. Now, there is the Academy of Quilting to continue on line learning. All in all, over the last 13 years or so, quilting has become a bit of a passion. But, my quilts are just made for family and friends, to be used to death - no desire to actually make something to be in a quilt show. I think I will progress with this blog by making an entry for each quilt - so I have about 80 entries to make before I get to current projects! Wow - that sounds intimidating!
