The first quilt I attempted was an hour glass baby quilt, even though there were no grandchildren on the horizon. I told my daughter that I had no idea how long it would take to make the quilt. By the date on the photo, I can tell the quilt was finished a full 5 1/2 years before my oldest granddaughter was born!
But the bug had bitten!
