Myrtle the Turtle. I have a niece who had a Myrtle stuffed turtle as a child. It was her love. And she still has a shred of it, even now as the mother of 4 boys. Years ago, I found a Myrtle the Turtle pattern and made this quilt hoping that one day she would have a daughter to give it to BUT no such luck. Having had 4 boys in 3 years, I think her family is complete!
