Next I tried my hand at appliqué. If I remember correctly, I made it much more difficult than it needed to be. When my daughter saw this quilt, even though there were still no grandchildren on the way, she took the quilt to her house so that I wouldn't be tempted to give it away. I just saw it at her house last week - the kids still use it.
I just noticed that this picture was taken before I put the binding on. I promise I did.
