Quilt #92

After finishing Spike's quilt yesterday, I finished Matthew's today. The girls aren't getting new quilts with the birth of this baby brother but I'm pretty sure Matthew is going to have a hard time no longer being the baby boy! And besides that he is really into monster trucks these days! Can't believe that Spike will be here a week from today and hopefully they will have a real name to put on his birth certificate! Though I believe that Spike will stick as his nickname! I backed this quilt with fleece so it is nice and cuddly!

Quilt #91

Finally finished the quilt for my new grandson who will be born in 10 days! I think he will like it when he gets old enough to know that it is his with love from Grandma! I bought the pattern in Paducah but modified it by putting a couple of train engines on it since trains are big with the Starke clan! I'm just glad that the quilt was finished before Spike made his entrance!

I

I even made the train track different from the roads on which the cars and trucks are driving.
