Quilt # 94

I finished the blue and white quilt for Andrew! Only a month old and he already has 2 quilts. I had started the cars, planes and trains quilt for him when Jenny sent me a picture of a blue and white quilt she had seen on Pinterest saying it would go well with the baby's room. I had a set of blue and white fat quarters, so there is now a blue and white quilt for Andrew. I did find though that blue with white was easy to come by, white with blue not so much! And since, we did not know his name when I finished his transportation quilt I put his name on this one! I quilted this on my home machine trying something new. Each block is quilted separately, and each row has a separate pattern.

Quilt # 93

I finished this quilt yesterday. It is for Everett Joseph, who is my neighbor Helen's great nephew who was born a couple of weeks early yesterday! Great that I finished his quilt the day he was born! Quilt 90 is the quilt that I made for Everett, since I am an honorary Bear (Helen's family). This is the quilt that his Great Aunt Helen is giving him!

I love the way I made the tag - it is only attached by the binding so it is kind of like a taggie! I will definitely continue making tags that way!
