First quilt of 2015. I saw this flying geese pattern in a book about using precuts. I had the blues that I had bought quite a while ago and decided to buy a light neutral package of strips to go with it. The blocks went together fairly quickly which was a good thing since I had decided to make it as a house warming gift for Jerry and Lori, and I was meeting Lori for lunch this week! So bought the border material last week, got it all put together over the weekend, quilted it on my home machine ( couldn't use Marie's longarm in time), and machine bound it today. I even made a label for it - something I rarely do. Took pictures and washed it and it is ready to go to lunch on Wednesday!
