One of my best friends' daughter, a girl I have known since she was about 2, was pregnant with her first child. She definitely needed a quilt. I had never done any paper piecing but saw a pattern for a quilt with boats. To personalize it I put his name on the bottom. Think the name would have looked better in a solid color, but it was appreciated and hung in Elijah's room.
