Quilt # 52

I had always wanted to make a black and white quilt. When I saw the Shattered Angles class at Quilt University, I decided this was the black and white (and red) quilt I wanted to make. I had been collecting black and white fat quarters for a long time! I decided to make this a rag quilt so that I could quilt each square. This is one of my favorite quilts. And I love the black with red and white fireworks that I found for the back - it was perfect. There is one glaring error though that bugs me every time I see it - the corner blocks were supposed to be matching catty-corner, not 2 on the same side!
